About the Genies
Yacht Genies was created after many years of watching couples struggle to get through the initial steps of vessel ownership. We have been boating together for over two decades and have delivered boats and offered training from the Canadian border to the Keys of Florida. Now, living in beautiful Cape Coral, FL we have noticed an increased need for a shared Captain & First Mate training experience.
We specialize in Couples Boat Training so that all on board are enjoying the boating experience. This includes learning about your new boat or finding all the great on water restaurants the area has to offer; to navigating the ICW or even how to create an amazing lunch/dinner on board!

My wife and I recently purchased our first twin engine trawler. Although we were long time sailors, we had no experience handling this type of boat so our broker suggested we contact Mike and Rochelle who specialize in providing on the water training for couples. We immediately found them very enjoyable to work with as they provided personalized training and positive feedback that had us feeling much more comfortable with the boat at the end of the day. Since we were out of state, they also delivered the boat for some repairs in preparation for our return home. Having done multiple boat deliveries that included the route we would take, they were able to share their first-hand knowledge and experience including custom tracks that proved invaluable during our trip.
